Motherhood is a great and profound transition from a woman in any woman’s life. Motherhood cannot be learnt or gained through knowledge as it is a feeling perceived by the women via media, self experience and from other mothers. Till the last month of pregnancy a woman keep guessing how her baby would be, how it would look, how she can take care of it but once the baby is delivered the instinct of a motherhood is readily instilled in women that they without any hitch or worry take care of their new born. Motherhood is a great feeling which cannot be expressed in terms or words.
Motherhood even though a period of celebration and joy also has its own drawbacks as the new mother looses her “freedom” in all means that they might lose their confidence too and begin to worry about their responsible role towards the baby and its well being. For women with supportive hands, motherhood would be the ultimate enjoyment in life, but for women who do not have any kind of support (financially or physically) might find motherhood very difficult and hard.
Even very professional and perfectionists find motherhood disorganized and haphazard as the mother has to depend on her child, its activities, sleep, waking time, feeding time all determines the time allotted for the mother for doing her duties. Motherhood and imperfection go hand in hand till the child can take care of itself.
