Motherhood and maternity should be a period of enjoyment which can be relished, remembered and cherished for the rest of the life. Many women who enter the maternity and mother hood phase have many kinds of concerns as it is unknown or new part of their life cycle. Having a first child could be a life altering occurrence not only for the mother but for the whole family; hence the process can be unnerving to them. Many worries and fears are very natural as they arise out of unknown aspects and logical fears of what is going to happens and whether it could be managed by them.
One of the common fears a women might have is whether they can hold the baby properly so that they do not drop them. Even though the chances of dropping a child is very narrow it is felt by one and all as they are very much worried about the safety and comfort of their babies. But in reality it is very uncommon to drop the child as they learn the moment the child is born all by themselves. This is not the case with humans but also observed in the mammals.
The next important concern a women might have during motherhood and maternity is related to when and how they need to feed the kid. Women tend to be very unsure whether they would know when the baby feels hungry and when they need to feed them, but in reality the mothers recognize the pattern of the child’s hunger and the signs and do their best.
Another important concern the mothers might have is regarding the sleep pattern of the babies. Normally a baby sleeps after its stomach becomes full, the pattern changes as the child grows. This too can be realized and understood by the mothers who have entered motherhood and maternity soon.
